Why learn AI coding now

A skill, not just informationStudents write and run real Python from the first lesson. Each level ends with a working project they built themselves.
Made for beginnersNo experience needed. Level 0 starts from the very first line of code and each level builds on the one before, one step at a time.
Understand the tools they already useChatbots, recommendations and text generators stop being a mystery when you have built a small one yourself.
Proof of learningA Certificate of Completion for every level passed, from an Ontario private school (BSID 667377), plus a portfolio of ten projects.

Why AI skills matter for the future

The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 expects skills in AI, big data, networks and cybersecurity to see the fastest growth in demand, and says nearly 40% of the skills needed on the job are set to change by 2030. Students who understand how AI works, not only how to use it, are ready for that change. A few examples of AI already at work:

Health
Hospitals use AI to help read scans and spot patterns in patient data. People who know how a model learns from examples can judge when to trust its answer. In Levels 3 to 5 students train models of their own and test how accurate they are.
Business and banking
Stores predict what customers will buy and banks flag unusual payments with AI. In Level 4 students code a model that predicts, and in Level 3 a filter that sorts messages.
Everyday tools
Chatbots and AI assistants answer questions, write drafts and plan tasks. In Levels 6 to 9 students build small versions of each: a text generator, tested prompts, an AI app and an AI assistant.
Any career
Engineering, medicine, business, media and the trades all use AI tools. Python and a clear idea of how AI works are useful in every one of them.

From zero to AI builder in 10 levels

Start: Level 0No experience at all. Write your first lines of Python and build a greeting bot.
Foundations: Levels 1 to 3Build a chatbot, analyze real data, and train a smart spam filter: your first AI that learns from examples.
Real AI: Levels 4 to 6Code a model that predicts, train your own neural network, and build a text generator that shows the idea behind tools like ChatGPT: predicting the next word.
Builder: Levels 7 to 9Design and test AI prompts, build and launch an AI app, and finish with your own AI assistant (AI agent) as the capstone.

By the end, a student who started from zero can write Python, explain how AI models learn, and show ten working projects, each with its own certificate.

What this looks like for real students

These examples show the kinds of students the program is built for.

Grade 7 or 8, curious about games and apps
Starts at Level 0 with no experience and, a few weeks later, has a greeting bot that answers in different ways, then a first chatbot in Level 1. Coding stops being something other people do.
Grade 9 or 10, good at math and science
Uses Level 2 to analyze real data with Python and Levels 3 and 4 to train a spam filter and a model that predicts. The same thinking shows up in science labs and math projects at school.
Grade 11 or 12, planning computer science, engineering or business
Builds a neural network, a text generator and an AI app, and finishes with an AI assistant capstone. Arrives at university or college with projects and certificates to talk about, not just an interest.
A beginner who has tried free videos and stalled
Gets a clear order to follow, practice that checks every answer instantly, real deadlines, marked results within 24 hours and the option to ask an instructor to review a result.
A family with a busy schedule
The student studies at home at any time of day. There is no class to drive to, no pick-up time and no timetable; only a final assessment date for each level.

How it works

  • Self-paced and online. Study any time. There is no timetable; the hours shown are a suggested allocation.
  • Level by level. Every student starts at Level 0. Pass a level to unlock the next one.
  • One deadline. Your final assessment is due 2 weeks after a level is unlocked for levels of 12 hours, or 3 weeks for longer levels. Finish early and move up sooner.
  • Real results. Your code is run and tested, and your results arrive within 24 hours of submitting. You can request a review by an instructor.
  • Certificates. Each level you pass earns its own Certificate of Completion.

Fees

The free assessment decides whether your courses are free or paid. See AI Coding Courses: Fees and Payment for every fee, how to pay and the refund policy.

These are non-credit courses. They do not earn OSSD credits and do not count toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
