Two families we serve

You live in Canada, with family ties in Nigeria

Your child studies in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg or anywhere else in Canada, or spends a term with family in Nigeria. An online Ontario course keeps a missing prerequisite, a mark to improve, or a course their school does not run on track, wherever they are that term.

You are Canadian, or hold or held status in Canada, and live in Nigeria

Your child studies in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan or elsewhere in Nigeria, in junior or senior secondary school toward the WAEC WASSCE or NECO examinations, or at a school following a British or American curriculum, with no Canadian credits yet. Ontario credits taken online build a Canadian academic record now, before university applications or a move back to Canada.

How the school years line up

In NigeriaIn OntarioWhat students usually take with us
JSS 3 and SSS 1Grades 9 and 10English, mathematics, science, introduction to business
SSS 2Grade 11English, functions, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, accounting
SSS 3 (WASSCE or NECO year)Grade 12The U and M level courses that Canadian universities ask for

Classes are matched by typical age. The school you apply to decides how it places a student.

Real situations, and how our courses help

Example 1. The full pathway from Nigeria. A JSS 3 student in Lagos enrols with us in Grade 9 and completes every credit online through Grade 12, studying around a regular day at home. The student then applies to universities in Canada and the USA with an Ontario academic record, without needing WASSCE, NECO or JAMB UTME results for the Canadian applications, because every credit was completed with a Canadian credit-granting school.
Example 2. Moving to Canada next year. An SSS 2 student in Abuja whose family has permanent residence approved takes Grade 11 English online before landing, and arrives in Canada with one Ontario Grade 11 course already completed.
Example 3. Canadian citizen studying in Nigeria. An SSS 3 student in Port Harcourt, a Canadian citizen by descent, plans to apply to a Canadian university. The student adds ENG4U online, the English course most universities count among the six Grade 12 courses, then MHF4U, the prerequisite for calculus.
Example 4. A term with grandparents. A Grade 11 student from Edmonton spends the winter with grandparents in Enugu and keeps up with online courses, studying and completing assessments whenever it suits the family day.
Example 5. A course the local school does not offer. A student in Kano wants computer science or international business at the Grade 12 level. ICS4U and BBB4M run online in every session.

These are examples of common situations, not individual student stories.

Study any time, from any time zone

Our courses are 100% online and asynchronous, and credits earned online carry the same value as credits earned in person. There are no fixed class hours and no time zone to follow. Your child studies and completes assessments at any time of day or night, around school, family and travel.

Final examinations are written online under proctoring with identity verification, or on site at our Vaughan campus. Nobody has to fly to Canada to write an examination.

The value of Canadian school credits

Canadian school credits give your child an academic record that universities in Canada and the USA read directly, earned from home in Nigeria.

  • Canadian schooling on record: every credit your child passes is recorded on an Ontario Student Transcript, the same record students in Ontario receive, built while living in Nigeria.
  • A head start for a move to Canada: your child arrives with Canadian credits already completed, instead of starting from the beginning.
  • Doors open in Canada and the USA: OSSD-level credits to apply to universities in Canada and the USA, with our help reading each university's requirements for the program your child wants.
  • No visa and no travel: online study from Nigeria needs no Canadian status, and exams are written online. Students in Canada with a valid status that permits study can also attend our Vaughan campus.

A large community on both sides

About 69,500 people living in Canada report Nigerian origin (Statistics Canada, 2021 Census). Nigeria was also the fifth country for new permanent residents to Canada in 2024 and the third for study permits in 2024 (IRCC). Many of these families have children studying in Nigeria, and many Canadian children spend school years there.

One course, several courses, or the full diploma path

Your child can take one course, several courses at the same time, or complete all Grade 9 to 12 credits with us. Sessions start six times a year. Tell our Admissions Office which university your child is working toward, and we will help you choose the courses and the session.
